Profile
Dr. Qiyu Bai is an Assistant Professor at the School of New Media, Peking University. She received her B.Sc. degree in Psychology from Jilin University in 2012, and earned her Ph.D. from the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences at Peking University in 2018. During her doctoral training, she was a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Dr. Qiyu Bai has led 13 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Talent Support Program, the Postdoctoral Fund, and commissioned projects from ByteDance and other enterprises and institutions. She has also played a key role in 4 major research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation Key Projects and Social Science Fund Major Projects.
Honors and Awards (Selected)
Dr. Qiyu Bai was selected for the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) 2023-2025 Youth Talent Support Program. She received the 2023 Peking University Huang Tingfang/Xinhe Outstanding Young Scholar Award and won multiple accolades in the 2025 Peking University 24th Annual Teaching Competition, including First Prize in Basic Teaching Skills, Curriculum Ideology Award, Best Lesson Plan Award, and Best Live Demonstration Award. She was also honored with the 2025 Peking University Outstanding Moral Education Award.
